Brewing beer is ridiculously easy and will impress your friends. Brooklyn Brewshop has created one gallon beer making kits with everything you will need (pot and strainer are helpful). Detailed instructions are included in the kit in addition to helpful videos on their site. Brewing each batch can take three to four hours, and the method of brewing — brew in a bag / all grain — is a first hand experience into understanding how your favorite beer is created. There are a variety of flavors to pick, from Jalapeno Saison to Grapefruit Honey Ale. We tried the Chocolate Maple Porter, and were really impressed with the taste. The body was dark and roasty with a semi-sweet taste of chocolate to finish.
