MoMA PS1 – Party Wall by CODA

ps1moma

The Museum of Modern Art and MoMA PS1 have announced CODA (Caroline O’Donnell, Ithaca, NY) as the winner of the 14th annual Young Architects Program (YAP) in New York.  The YAP is committed to promoting architects to design sustainable projects that provide the playground for the MoMA PS1 weekend summer parties, the Warm Up 2013 summer music series (starting in June). The Party Wall is supported by a steel frame and large fabric containers filled with water. The lower portion is capable of detaching and becoming benches and communal tables. We’re looking forward to seeing this wall in action.
