Warm weather is upon us and naturally we’re smitten by light and session-style beers. Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy is a refreshing and curiously strong lemony wheat beer. This is not necessarily a session brew, but it is drinkable and contains under  5% ABV. The lemon flavor gives this beer a crisp flavor and with a light gold appearance, it is the adult lemonade. The grains used are pale and wheat. We don’t need a robust fully bodied beer this season, and the Summer Shandy is perfect for a hot day.
