Samsung Galaxy NX Android-powered Camera with LTE

Not a day goes by without Samsung, the world’s largest electronics company, dropping a new piece of gadgetry. Newly announced is the Galaxy NX, an interchangeable lens camera with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It is the first interchangeable lens camera with built-in LTE and Wi-Fi. Clearly designed for sharing photogs, the Galaxy NX doesn’t look like a slouch spec-wise. It has a 20.3-megapixel APS-C sensor, 4.8-inch HD LCD, 1.6GHz quad-core processor, 16GB of internal storage (expandable to 64GB via microSD card) and 2GB of RAM.

The camera shoots 8.6 frames per second in continuous mode, has a 1/6000th of a second shutter speed, and 30 “Smart Modes” to fit any scene. Since this camera is Android-based, all of your regular Android apps will work, including Instagram (which now does 15-second videos!).

Samsung hasn’t released any info on price or availability yet. Stay tuned.
