Coffee Joulies

In recent years, coffee “snobs” have become something of a norm. Like good alcohol and beer, coffee can come in many flavors and brews. But, one thing we can all agree on when drinking good java is that it’s best drunk when hot. The guys behind Coffee Joulies believe there’s a “perfect” temperature to downing a cup of coffee. Regular mugs (even those fancy double glass Bodum ones) apparently aren’t enough to keep a coffee properly heated.

Coffee Joulies are polished stainless steel “beans” with “an advanced phase change material that melts at 140°F.” When dropped into hot coffee, Cofee Joulies are designed to absorb the heat and then maintain its “optimal” temperature. One can probably say they’re like Whiskey Stones, but for hot drinks.

Made in the U.S., Coffee Joulies are a little on the hefty side, but probably well worth the investment for serious coffee drinkers who demand perfection from every cup.
