Panda Sunglasses’ business model is to give the gift of sight and make quality sunglasses. This company was launched in 2012 from a successful Kickstarter initiative that saw them raise nearly $20,000 out of their $3,000 goal. The sunglasses are made of eco-friendly sustainable bamboo, 100% UVA/UVB polarized lenses, and named after presidents and government officials. Through their partnership with the TOMA Foundation, each purchase provides an eye or medical exam and a pair of prescription glasses or sunglasses to someone in need.
