Fujifilm X-M1

Aside from Olympus’ PEN cameras, there really isn’t any other company that makes a mirrorless interchangeable lens camera with vintage-inspired looks other than Fujifilm. Aimed squarely at the E-P5, the X-M1 has a 16.3-megapixel APS-C “X-Trans” CMOS sensor, quick 0.5-second startup time, a sharp 3-inch tilting LCD, ISO 100-25600, Wi-Fi to transfer pics and vids to smartphones, tablets and computers, and a lovely leather faux-leather design.

The X-M1 doesn’t have any electronic viewfinder of any sort, but it does have a hotshoe for an optical one (sold separately). The camera also has a built-in pop-up flash. Fujifilm offers the X-M1 in three colors: brown/silver, black/silver and black/black.

Price: $699.95 (body only), $799.95 (with XC16-50mm lens)
