Samsung Galaxy Round

Forget fingerprint sensors, the next leap in innovation is curved screens, or so Samsung wants you to believe. The Galaxy Round is essentially a Galaxy Note 3 with a curved display.

It has a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 resolution, 2.3GHz quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD to 64GB. The camera on the back is a 13-megapixel one and the battery is quite spacious at 2,800mah. Android 4.3 skinned with TouchWiz rounds out the, er, Round.

Of course, a Samsung smartphone wouldn’t be right without at least a few new features. The Round has a “Roll Effect” and “Gravity Effect” which lets you tap the sides of the curved display to trigger notifications and music controls.

Want one for yourself? Sorry fellas, but it’s Korea-only, so don’t bother unless you live in the world of K-pop.
