Guillermo del Toro has long been a mainstay as one of our favorite writers-directors, his films are creative and mind-blowing. Pan’s Labyrinth caught our attention early on, and one of his latest films, Pacific Rim was ridiculously awesome and also immense in scale (Seriously, it was good). Many of the motifs and themes of his films are not new, and his storytelling ability is what makes him so good. His new book, Guillermo del Toro Cabinet of Curiosities: My Notebooks, Collections, and Other Obsessions comes out on October 29th, and he will be signing it at Barnes and Noble on November 4th. This book is a deep dive into the mind of del Toro and we get a first hand look at his process, imagination and genius.
