The Village Voice’s Seventh Annual “Choice Eats” has just been announced with exclusive pre-sale tickets on sale today, January 23rd (Use promo code: EATSPR. General tickets are available next Wednesday). The event will take place on Tuesday, March 25th from 6:00 – 10:00pm. “Choice Eats” is a sampling of New York City’s most celebrated restaurants. This excessively decadent event will feature over 60 restaurants with cuisines from all over the world. Typically held at the 69th Armory, “Choice Eats” will move to a more spacious venue at Basketball City in Lower Manhattan.

This is shaping up to be the biggest and best food event this winter with food, sweets and booze. This event is not aimed at drinking, but will have Stella Artois, Great Brewers, Southern Wine & Spirits, Asahi Beer USA and Barefoot Wine & Bubbly serving drinks (And likely more). The restaurant line-up has yet to be finalized and we’re expecting some heavy hitters like last year: Dirt Candy, Beecher’s Handmade Cheese, The Blue Stove, Home By The Range, Luke’s Lobster, Porchetta, The Meatball Shop and Thirty Acres. Sweets is also a main attraction, and if you’re not careful a sugar rush could ruin your event. The dessert specialists in the past included: Butter Lane, Del Posto (Their desert program is insane!), S’more Bakery and more. Tickets will sell out, so get them now.
