No you’re not imagining it — Nokia is going to release an Android smartphone. Announced at Mobile World Conference in Barcelona, the Nokia X as a 4-inch (800 x 480 resolution) display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 4GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card), 512MB of RAM, a 3-megapixel rear camera, and a 1,500 mAh battery.

The Nokia X will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, but it will be skinned with Windows Phone-esque flat tiles and icons. While the smartphone will be preloaded with all of Nokia’s own apps, including HERE Maps and Microsoft’s Skype and OneDrive. One thing you won’t be able to access is Google’s curated Android apps via the Google Play app store.

Nokia’s selling the X in six different colors in Asia Pacific, Europe, India, Latin America, the Middle-East and Africa immediately.
