The Sony Xperia Z1 was an outstanding Android smartphone for two reasons: slim sleek design and water-resistant construction. The worst part was its screen, which had poor viewing angles. Sony’s revamped its flagship smartphone with a better IPS screen that’s also slightly larger (5.2-inches) and updated internals: 2.3GHz quad-core processor, 16GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card to 64GB) 3GB of RAM, and a 3,200mAh battery. And of course, the Xperia Z2 runs Android 4.4 KitKat.
Moreover, the Xperia Z2 has a brand new 20.7-megapixel camera capable of recording 4K video and slow-motion at 120 frames per second in 720p.
Sony’s releasing the Xperia Z2 in three colors (black, white, and purple) this month.
