Samsung’s habit of “miniaturizing” its flagship smartphone continues. The Galaxy S5 Mini is exactly what you’d expect with less of everything: 4.5-inch HD Super AMOLED (1280 x 720 resolution) display, 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB o internal storage (expandable via microSD card), 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash/2.1-megapixel front camera, 2100mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat.

The specs might be less beefy, but the S5 Mini is still a Galaxy S5 in every other sense. It still has a fingerprint scanner built into its display, a heart rate monitor located just below the rear camera, IP67 dust and water resistance, S Health, and the dimpled rear cover.

The smartphone will be available your choice of Charcoal Black, Shimmery White, Electric Blue or Copper Gold.

Russia will be the first to get the Galaxy S5 Mini starting this month. Other regions will follow soon after.
