Watches for Sale: Week of 9/22

As watch collectors, we’re following new releases, but virtually live on eBay to find deals and vintage finds. Buying watches on eBay can be incredibly easy, but also incredibly tough. We encourage you to do your homework before buying on eBay. You could be getting a great deal or a frankenwatch with a movement made of thrown together parts. The watches we’ve found for this week will likely fall under the $2,000 range and are a healthy mix of sport and dress watches.

1. Rolex 1002 Oyster Perpetual: Our personal favorite, a beautiful and affordable Rolex. Looks nearly new, recently overhauled (Means it’s working in a good shape), pictures of open case, running 1570 automatic movement. No box or papers or guarantee of water resistance.

2. Tudor Prince Oysterdate: Rolex’s hip younger brother with great quality and lower prices. In good condition with slight wear on the dial at the 10-12 o’clock markers, cyclops looks good, band appears to be original, seller not sure when it was last serviced.
