Headlands Handmade had a simple goal when they created the Vernon Bill Fold wallet, it was to recreate the wallet of their Great Grandpa Vernon who was a corn farmer in Cedar Rapids, Nebraska. Their Great Grandpa Vernon was known to them through stories and pictures, but his wallet was their closest connection to him. Vernon’s wallet has become a family heirloom that has survived years of usage (Over 60 years).
Headlands Handmade Vernon Bill Fold wallet is built first and foremost to last forever. While we no doubt it can outlive us, it’s safe to say this won’t be the last wallet we buy. This updated version in honor of Vernon is made with 3oz. Horween Chromexcel from Chicago and hand-stitched with black thread from the Maine Thread Company in Lewiston. We really like the size of this compact wallet that can carry four cards, ID, Euros, Yen, and Pounds. This handmade wallet is made to order and takes roughly 5-10 days to make.
