Hey Bartender  is written and directed by Douglas Triola, and opened in New York City on June 6. The documentary follows the lives of high-end bartenders in Manhattan as well as a struggling neighborhood bar. Steve Schneider is an apprentice bartender at Employees Only in Manhattan’s West Village and is trying to become a principal bartender. The other Steve, Stephen Carpentieri is the struggling owner of Dunvilles in Westport, CT. Both characters’ lives take unexpected twists and make their way to the world of mixology and hospitality. We like how this is one of the few films to capture cocktail as an art and not just a means of living. You’ll be dying for a cocktail when you’re done.
