Google’s partnering with ASUS once again to deliver the updated Nexus 7 Android tablet. New in the 7-incher is a higher-resolution 1920 x 1200 display, 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor, 2GB of RAM, and the addition of a 5-megapixel rear camera and 1.2-megapixel front camera. Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC have also been tossed in. The thinner and lighter Nexus 7 now comes with 16GB of internal storage minimum, although you can opt for a 32GB model.
The new Nexus 7 is also the first device to run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The OS update adds limited multi-user accounts, OpenGL ES 3.0, improved graphics rendering and a way to restrict in-app purchases.
It goes without saying: the best Android tablet is about to get better starting July 30.
