Glassware is expensive. We know a quality coupe or wine glass can run a fortune, however we’ve found a solution: jars. We use jars to infuse spirits, but they also double as glassware. Ball jars are the standard for canning because of their quality and durability, but throw a cocktail in them and you’re suddenly at a cocktail bar or even a picnic. Try a tall cylindrical jar and it’s a highball. The drawback of jars is that they don’t stack well, but they’re multipurpose. At $1-$2 per jar, they’re a steal. Get the intricate designs or the wide-mouth jars because they’re easier to use.
