Samsung Galaxy Mega

How big can a smartphone get before it no longer fits the definition of a smartphone? While there are no correct answers, Samsung continues to push the boundaries of smartphones with larger displays.

Even larger than the 5.5-inch Galaxy Note II, the Galaxy Mega has a gigantic 6.3-inch 1280 x 720 resolution display, 1.7GHz dual-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM and an 8-megapixel rear camera.

As always, the Android smartphone runs custom Samsung’s TouchWiz UI on top of Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and comes with all of the company’s own features such as WatchON, Story Album, S translator, Multi Window, Air View and Easy Mode.

If you prefer your smartphones to be mini-tablets, then the Mega might just be right. That, or maybe you have giant hands like Shaq.

The Galaxy Mega arrives on AT&T on August 23 in “Nova Black” and “Polaris White” and will arrive on Sprint and U.S. Cellular later this year.
