Since the late 1800s Victorinox Swiss Army has been a household name for their knives and in 1989 they started producing watches with the introduction of the “Original”. Similar to their knives, the design was simple yet elegant and most importantly the watch was easy to read. Recently they have re-introduced the “Original” as a limited edition model and this is a great buy for watches under $500. This watch is constructed in dark gunmetal grey and features a nylon fiber case, stainless steel screwed-in case back, scratch resistant hardened mineral crystal and runs on a Swiss quartz chronograph movement. The dial is 40 mm and the face has luminescent hands and hour markers. There are three separate sub-dials and a calendar window. This watch also comes with a genuine leather strap with a protective hood.

This watch has a great classic design and can take a beating (Water resistant up to 100m). We’re not a fan of the strap with a protective hood, but that can easily be changed out for any Victorinox or aftermarket strap.
