In addition to the Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Galaxy S5, Samsung also revealed another new product at Mobile World Congress: the Gear Fit. Unlike the Gear 2 smartwatch, the Gear Fit is a wristwatch-like device that focuses on fitness.
The Gear Fit has a 1.84-inch rectangular touchscreen, a built-in heart rate monitor and a step counter. The best part: the built-in fitness coach will egg you on to work out harder in real-time and the data from it can be synced to a Galaxy smartphone or tablet via the S Health app. You also won’t need to charge the Gear Fit every night; battery life is rated at around 3-4 days.
Samsung’s fitness wearable is expected to arrive in early April.
