When you think of Detroit, you probably think of cars. That, or a city so bankrupt, there are houses going for a dollar. (No joke.) Despite the city’s hardships, there are still honest companies making artisanal products. Detroit-based Shinola has handcrafted this pared-down bifold wallet from premium, veggie-tanned Horween leather.
Those numbers you see aren’t random digits: each wallet is individually numbered, so you can be sure you’re getting a unique product. Inside, the wallet has two card slots and one compartment for bills. Wallet measurements are: 3.875 x 3.25-inches.
We’re digging the black and tan color, but you can pick from dark brown, beige and a forest green.
Price: $125
