Selfies. Ugh. Like them or hate them, they’re here to stay. Sony’s Xperia C3 is the self-proclaimed “PROselfie” smartphone. Its marquee feature is its 5-megapixel wide-angle front-facing camera with LED flash. (Most smartphones only come with 2-megapixel front-facing camera and no LED flash.) Combined with a special “Superior Auto” setting, the Xperia C3 is capable of taking the best selfies in any scenario.

Beyond selfies, the Xperia C3 isn’t too shabby, either. It’s only 7.6mm thick and weighs 150g, despite its 5.5-inch HD IPS (1280 x 720 resolution) display. The Xperia C3 is what you’d call a mid-range smartphone. It has 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card), an 8-megapixel rear camera.

Additionally, the Xperia C3 comes with dual-SIM card slots, so you can manage two work numbers or a work and personal number on the same device.

Sony will sell the Xperia C3 in August (launches in China first) in three colors: black, white, and mint.
