Patagonia Ultralight Down Vest

Patagonia has consistently made quality products that we’ve come to trust and rely on. My first Patagonia fleece was won in a Surfing contest, over 20 years ago that I still use to this day. I’ve purchased other fleeces and they’ve worn down within a few years, but the Patagonia one is still going strong.

We’re in the fall season and we need clothing that keeps us warm without weighing us down. When the winter hits, we’re willing to throw on any and all sweaters and jackets to keep warm, but the fall season is tricky. Blazers are one of our go-to fall items, and when we’re looking to go casual, another option is a vest.

Patagonia’s Ultralight Down Vest is meant for moderately cold weather or as layer for extreme weather. Goose down provides warmth while remaining lightweight. What’s interesting about Patagonia’s vest is that it uses Traceable Down, which comes exclusively from birds that were never force-fed and never live-plucked. Surprisingly, Patagonia is the only company currently to do this. This lightweight, water-resistant, down vest comes in a variety of colors and folds neatly into its hand warmer pockets.
