Summer is here. That means it’s hot and humid, and how we’re beating the heat today is with light shirts, shorts, and slip-ons.

I wanted to keep it classy, yet casual and went with a white and blue organic oxford button down shirt from MUJI. For those that are staying away from cotton this season, MUJI also offers linen button down shirts that are lighter and breath better. For the bottoms, I went with green 9 inch Stanton shorts from J. Crew. J. Crew also makes shorts in varying lengths at 5, 7, and 9 inches. On my wrist is my standby Longines Hydroconquest with a burgundy leather nato strap from Crown and Buckle. My shoes are a limited release Star Wars Vans purchased at Opening Ceremony. And lastly, I’m wearing the New Wayfarer from Ray-Ban in brown. Keeping a close attention on color palettes, today I stuck with brown from top to bottom. When in doubt either choose brown or black and match with that main color.
